Fabulous Diamond Models showcase Spring Gala

By now you’ve seen the upstairs at the magnificent Savoy Restaurant and Lord knows I’ve told you about it. But I guarantee you’ve never seen the Savoy like this.

The Fabulous Diamond Models introduced their new Fashion Troupe and presented their Spring Fashion Gala in conjunction with Rising Star Fashion Designer Rashida Brown of “Sheda’s Closet.”

The event kicked off with a welcome from Five Star Corporation Executive Director Dennis Briggs and a powerful speech by Ed Gainey, candidate for state representative.

With more than 100 people in attendance, there was standing room only as the Diamond Models hit the floor and dazzled the crowd with their grace and beauty and the amazing fashions of “Sheda’s Closet.”

The fundraiser proved to be an enormous success, as much needed funds were raised by Five Star Corporation, Champion Enterprises and the ­Fabulous Diamond Models.

Thanks goes out to Savoy, Chuck Sanders Charities and Bob Burt and Ken Olgivie Photography Studios. A very special thank you goes out to Lorena Mitchell, the guest commentator for the show, who kept the crowd buzzing from beginning to end.
