ONE DOWN MORE TO GO—Jamyce Patterson, PGH Style and GLAM founder takes a breath after producing a successful designer’s showcase event.

With the goal to introduce their fashion oriented merchandise and services to the public, Timia Darwin and Lakisha Pattin are set for Oct. 29. The two are hosting fashion events less than a mile apart for the stylish minded consumer.

From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Darwin the owner of Timia’s Fashion Salon PGH located at 4705 Liberty Ave. is celebrating the first-year anniversary of the shop. Between noon and 3 p.m. Pattin the owner of Moda Coeur Shoetique and Focused Fashion Consulting is conducting a Pop-Up Shop event with Sonita Bell of Sonita’s Designs at the Irma Freeman Center of Imagination, 5006 Penn Ave. All three are excited and anxious to share their love for fashion and beauty with their customers and patrons.

“In addition to attendees seeing the fashions and items we carry in the boutique they will witness firsthand the work of our hair stylists and makeup artists,” said Darwin. “The afternoon is going to be filled with fun, food, live music and spoken word.” Timia’s Fashions carries women and men clothing, handbags and accessories, jewelry and specialty items on consignment.
