Kouren-Rodney Bernard Thomas, 20, was shot and killed on Sunday outside a home near a party he attended. Chad Cameron Copley, 39, who was arrested for Thomas’ murder, allegedly called 911 before the incident to report “hoodlums” in his neighborhood. “I am locked and loaded. I’m going outside to secure my neighborhood,” he reportedly said. A Louisiana judge released body camera footage showing officers who fired into a vehicle, unknowingly killing a 6-year-old child inside.
