Washington Mystics Guard Ivory Latta and Dr. Caryl Mussenden joined guest host Jeff Johnson on “NewsOne Now” to explain the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer.
Despite being in excellent shape, doctors detected a golf ball sized lump in Latta’s left breast. It turned out to be benign but it had to be removed. Listen to their conversation below to find out the keys to early detection.
Be sure to listen to “NewsOne Now” with Roland Martin, weekdays at 7 a.m. EST and watch at 9 a.m. EST on TV One.
