Where only the truth matters.

• The Emmanuel Sanders saga continues . . .

BILL NEAL

#1 We are talking about the same Emmanuel Sanders that dropped more clutch passes in a season than Jerry Rice did in an entire career . . . right?

#2 Anybody that’s played any sport at any level, high school and above, knows you don’t throw your past teammates under the bus.

#3 But if you do . . . take the high road.  Call it “my bad,” drop it and move on.  But no, not Sanders.  Now he wants to defend his comments.  Trust me, this will come back to bite him in his new Denver ass!

#4 And for the record, Big Ben two rings . . . Manning one!!!

Ray Rice, Janay Palmer

• There’s a lot of stuff I can say about Ray Rice and his domestic violence situation.  Most of which I can’t for fear of a couple women knocking me out and dragging me out of an elevator, but I will say this, there are three sides to every story. . . his truth, her truth and the real truth!  Look, for the record, and since this is where only the truth matters . . . Ray, you never, never, never ever hit a woman . . . and if confronted, you just walk away . . . you take the high road . . . and to his credit, he has been contrite and apologetic a thousand times over . . . but for him, and every man, no matter what started it, you have to find the strength to do what your mama told you . . . walk away!  But there are still some unanswered questions.  What happened on that elevator?  Has it happened before?  Why did his wife stand by him?  Why was he hit with only a two-game suspension?  Why didn’t the Ravens add something to the punishment?  Everyone knows it should have been a least 8 games.  I’m just askin!!!

JOE GREENE

• The Steelers will retire Joe Greene’s number this year.  A long overdue tribute.  And if you don’t know why, know this, he was quite simply the best to ever play that position on the best defense of all time on the greatest team of all time.  Don’t take my word for it . . . go to the tapes!

Chadwick Boseman

• Do yourself a favor.  Forget the last five years of James Brown’s life and remember all the greatness that preceded it.  He bought the radio station he shined shoes in front of.  He innovated and dominated the music industry for five decades.  He single handedly stopped race riots.  And more than anything, he made you “Get on Up!”  Go see the movie.  It’s great.  4 basketballs   And the Brother playing “Soul Brother #1″ aka “The Godfather of Soul”, Chadwick Boseman, will be nominated for an Oscar.  Now Get on the Good Foot, Get on Board the Night Train, say it loud that you’re Black and you’re proud, break out in a cold sweat and be the sex machine, I know you can . . . now Fred . . . Macio . . . hit me!!! (Yeah, I know, I am good at this.)
