VH1 blessed us “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” fans with TWO episodes of the popular show in one week and we can’t stop talking about last night’s drama.
On Monday we watched Nikko break the news to Mimi, that the sex tape they made in private landed in the lands of Vivid Entertainment. She cried…we’re talking Sharon Stone tears. Yet this time around, Mimi walked with a new swag as she delivered the jarring info to her baby’s daddy Stevie J. He was less than thrilled to hear about his 50-year-old former girlfriend doing nasty things to each other on camera. What would their daughter think? Stevie alluded to “taking” their daughter Eva from Mimi, but Stevie has a pending child support case that would probably ruin his chances.
Let’s rewind (and suppose you believe that Mimi and Nikko’s sex tape was stolen and leaked). Nikko, being such the gentleman he is, offered no emotional support after Mimi exclaimed how she’d one day have to explain the tape to her daughter. He was insistent that they take a meeting with Stevie Hirsh, Vivid owner, to hear what he had to say about the steamy home vid. Mimi and Nikko flew to LA to meet with Hirsh, who offered them money to distribute the video because someone else may have it as well, and leak it themselves. Mimi chose to gain financially.
Karlie Redd and Yung Joc made their appearance last night and like we all figured…their storyline is utterly ridiculous and almost insulting. Like seriously, are we supposed to believe that she and the “It’s Going Down” rapper are together? And that’s not all…we’re supposed to believe BOTH of them are monogamous. Chile, cheese. Karlie doesn’t even think Joc is famous, because she was chasing him around Magic City then talking about his manhood smells like “fish” when he comes home. Well Karlie, that’s not because he was caught stealing crab legs and smuggled them in his lap. It doesn’t help that we’ve seen the super trailer for the season and later find out Joc’s been cheating on her since the beginning of their relationship. No really?
Kirk decided to swab he and Rasheeda’s baby in the middle of the night so he confirm or deny his suspicions. (He is reaching for straws, trying to find anything to make himself feel better for cheating on his wife). And guess who told him he could purchase a paternity test right at the drug store while they were shopping for new motorcycles? Benzino. Pretty ratchet.
At the end of the episode, Stevie confronted Nikko, who looked pretty stupid in a lime green skirt and matching socks, over the sex tape rumors. Nikko didn’t back down. He accused him of being jealous and brought up his alleged debt. Stevie eventually walked away leaving Nikko scratching for the last word (as he often is trying to catch up).
Thoughts on last night’s episode?
