Women’s Conference
MARCH 28—Greater Destiny Outreach Church will host its “Women Destined to Move: Virtuous Movers and Shakers” Women’s Conference at Phipps Conservatory, Botany Hall, 1 Schenley Park Dr., Oakland. The conference, which will run through March 30, will be hosted by Pastor Latisha Robinson, will include speakers such as Messenger A. Carswell, Regina Holly, Darieth Chisolm and Donna Baxter. Saturday Night Live
MARCH 29—The Youth Department of Morning Star Baptist Church, 812 Oak St., West Mifflin, will host its Saturday Night Live Service at 6 p.m. The guest preacher will be Min. Gospel Fest
MARCH 30—The Church Anniversary Committee of Unity Baptist Church, 420 Fifth St., Braddock, will host a Gospel Fest from 4-7 p.m. at the VFW, 401 Draper St., East Pittsburgh. March Madness
MARCH 31—Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church, 6111 Rodman St., East Liberty, will host its March Madness Men’s Revival at 7 p.m. The revival will feature a Word from Former Pittsburgh Steeler Min. Moses
APRIL 3—Morning Star Baptist Church, 812 Oak St., West Mifflin, will host a trip to see the play “Moses” at the Sight & Sound Theater, 300 Hartman Bridge Rd., Lancaster, Pa. This is a live stage play. Guests will depart from the church at 6 a.m. and will return at approximately 9 p.m. The cost is $140, which includes transportation, the show and lunch at the Shady Maple Smorgasboard. Gospel Benefit Concert
APRIL 18—Promise Now Inc. will host its “An Evening of Gospel Music!” Benefit Concert at 7 p.m. at The Benedum Center, 803 Liberty Ave., Downtown. The evening will feature Israel Houghton & New Breed, along with Martha Munizzi. The proceeds from the evening will benefit the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.
