A SHOW OF STRENGTH AND UNITY—The first annual “From Which We Came Black History Month Event” was held at and hosted by the Thelma Lovette YMCA, exhibiting the Teenie Harris Collection and unveiling the Hill District Y Wall of History. At the celebration everyone raised their fist saying, “Black people are strong, Black people are intelligent people, my history is a living history, I am POWER!!!”
