Fashion Fair Cosmetics, the world’s largest Black-owned cosmetics company, has announced Amy S. Hilliard as the new President of the beauty company owned by Johnson Publishing Company. As president of Fashion Fair, Hilliard will report to JPC Chief Executive Officer, Desiree Rogers, and will be responsible for leading the company’s operations including marketing, sales, operations and retail partnerships. She assumes the position February 24.
“We are excited to bring Amy into the Fashion Fair family,” stated Rogers. “Amy comes to us with an extensive background in marketing and business development, and we look forward to having her expertise and leadership as we re-launch the Fashion Fair Cosmetics brand and continue our business growth.”
Hilliard is a senior executive with experience in marketing, business development, general management, strategic marketing, new product development, advertising, public relations, acquisitions, manufacturing and retail merchandising.

Prior to joining Fashion Fair, she served as the CEO, president and founder of The ComfortCake Company, LLC and The Hilliard Group, Inc. Hilliard has also held senior leadership roles at L’Oreal for the Soft Sheen Products division, Burrell Communications Group, The Pillsbury Company and The Gillette Company.
Hilliard, a Detroit native, has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from Howard University. Hilliard continues to stay active in the community and with her alma maters. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Howard University.
