Small Seeds’ Christmas toy giveaway

Christmas is the best time of the year for giving is better than receiving. This held true for a community organization known as Small Seeds Development Inc., located at 204 N. Highland Ave. in East Liberty.

On Dec.19, at St. James AME Church, 444 Lincoln Ave., this caring and compassionate organization held its Mother to Son holiday dinner celebration.

Several families in the greater Pittsburgh area, along with local churches participated in this event.

The staff of Small Seeds Development made sure everyone who attended had plenty to eat. The children took part in joyful caroling of holiday songs and answered holiday trivia questions.

Pictures of the families were taken around the wonderful Christmas trees that adorned the dinning area of the church. Last be not least, after dinner, Small Seeds staff members handed out toys to the families.
