The Playwrights Theatre presents “SOLD: Renn Woods in Concert” at 8 p.m. at 937 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. The play is Rhythm & Blues is written by and stars Renn Woods, former child star, actress and singer, and is adapted from her autobiographical one woman show “A Diva Like Me.” Woods has starred in the television mini series “Roots.” The show will run through Oct. 20. A Taste of Africa

The Cameroon Football Development Program presents “A Taste of AFRICA Live in Pittsburgh” at 6 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, 6300 Fifth Ave., Shadyside. This will be an evening of live musical performances, authentic food and a silent auction featuring hand-crafter items from Cameroon.
