:10 First things first. A fond farewell to another “Bad Man.” Former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Ken Norton, one of only three men to beat the baddest of them all, the great Muhammad Ali. Norton passed away at the too young age of 70 from complications from a stroke he suffered last year.

Family claims negligence in 12-year-old’s attack at Pressley Ridge

RECOVERY—The 12-year-old received 52 stitches at Children’s Hospital. It took doctors at Children’s Hospital 52 stitches to repair cuts on the face and neck of a 12-year-old boy whose family says was attacked at Pressley Ridge Day School in the North Side. According to the boy’s mother, Sheheda Manley, and grandmother, Tamara Bailey, he was attacked with a broken plate by a 16-year-old in the cafeteria of the school on Sept. 18.

Porter retires from Penn State Greater Allegheny

CURTISS PORTER, PHD Before Curtiss Porter, PhD, arrived as Chancellor of (what was then called) Penn State McKeesport in 1999, it offered only 2-year degree programs—which students seeking a four-year degree had to finish at the main campus in University Park, Pa. Within a year, he had implemented a four-year degree program in Information Sciences Technology. The campus now offers seven four-year degrees; adding programs in Psychology, English and four business degrees.

Rihanna spot on about Phuket problems

During her visit she shared many of her experiences on social media, including a photo of her holding a loris — an endangered primate — and tweeted about a visit to a sex show.
