Revival Series
    SEPT. 25—Macedonia Baptist Church of Pittsburgh, 2225 Bedford Ave., Hill District, will host its Code R.E.D.D. (Recruit, Equip, Deploy, Develop) Revival Series at 7 p.m. Every Wednesday during the month of September a special guest will bring a word to revive the spirit. This week’s guest will be Rev. Women’s Retreat
    SEPT. 27—Monumental Baptist Church, 2240 Wylie Ave., Hill District, will host a Women’s Retreat at Jumonville Christian Camp & Retreat Center, Laural Highlands. The theme is “Reflecting the Beauty of the Lord.” The two-day retreat will feature Rev, Taleeta Canady of Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church; Rev. Leola Cherry of Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church; and Rev. Desire Grogan of Shiloh Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Men and Women’s Weekend
    SEPT. 28—Mount Carmel Baptist Church of North Versailles, 90 Port Perry Rd., North Versailles, will host its Men and Women’s Weekend Celebration. The weekend will begin with a Men and Women’s Breakfast from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. with Rev. Brian Wright as the guest psalmist. On Sept. 29 there will be a Theological Enrichment service from 9:30-10:30 with DuVaughn Baker, followed by a worship service at 10:45 a.m. with Rev. Dionne Edmonds of Macedonia Baptist Church, the Mount Carmel Women’s Choir and the Metropolitan Male Chorus of Philadelphia. There will also be a 3:30 p.m. service with Rev. Women’s Brunch
    SEPT. 28—The SHOUT (Sisters Hanging Out United in Truth) Women’s Ministry of Union Baptist Church of Swissvale, 2117 Collingwood Ave., Swissvale, will host a Women’s Brunch from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Every fourth Saturday of the month, women will come together for food, fun and fellowship to praise the Lord and hear a Word from a woman of faith. Gospel Rama/Dinner

Anniversary Celebration

Prayer Breakfast
    OCT. 5—Garden City United Methodist Church, 500 Laurel Dr., Monroeville, will host the 4th Annual Women’s Prayer Breakfast from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Garden City Fire Hall #6, 600 Garden City Dr., Monroeville. The theme is “Women of God-Walking In A Relationship With God.” The guest speakers will be Kathy Svilar, of Grace Life Church, and Rev. B. DeNeice Welch, of Bidwell United Presbyterian Church. Anniversary Celebration
    OCT. 5—The Center for Urban Biblical Ministry of Geneva College will host its 25th Anniversary Celebration from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 271 Paulson Ave., East Liberty. The celebration will include a lecture by guest speaker Cleophus J. LaRue, PhD, of Princeton Theological Seminary, lunch, a preached word by LaRue and more. Registration is requested.
