FOR YOUR GOOD HEALTH—Dara Moore and Kim Spruce, both of Primary Care Health ­Services.

On Aug. 10, Homewood AME Zion Church blocked off a portion of Homewood Avenue and gave back to the community they have been a part of for decades.

Children enjoyed face painting, carnival games, free popcorn and hotdogs and a lot of fun.

There was good information for the adults on health care and taking care of your elder loved ones. Mary Ann Howard was the event co-ordinator.
