Welcome to the “Burg” Marlon Byrd. Lord knows we need you. Hell, for that matter, we could use Stevie Wonder if he can hit a ball. Now do yourself a favor and don’t go cold!
My name is Al Capone. I’ve broken all the laws in Chicago history and stolen more money than you can possibly imagine, but it doesn’t matter because you didn’t see me do it so there’s nothing you can do about it. I get the same treatment as “Johnny Football” (aka Johnny Manziel). I just have to sit out the first half!!!
You can have the new age attitude that pre-season games don’t matter. Funny how it matters to the other team when they kick our butts. I subscribe to the great Chuck Noll’s theory, “If they didn’t matter, we wouldn’t play them” . . . winning breeds winning. Nuff said!!
