Community Health Fair
AUG. 17—North Side Christian Health Center will host a Community Health Fair from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at NSCHC, 816 Middle St., North Side. Gathering In the Park

Summer Speaker ­Program
AUG. 17—The McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center Summer Speaker Program: The Goode Family’s Heritage at 2 p.m. at 1812 Arboretum Dr., McKeesport. Robert Goode, of Homestead, will give a presentation on his family’s stories, including those of Mary Dee Dudley, the nation’s first Black female disc jockey, and Mal Goode, the first Black correspondent for a national network. Women’s Health ­Conference
AUG. 17—Highmark Health Services will host its Fun, Fit and Fabulous Women’s Health Conference at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Hotel, 600 Commonwealth Place, Downtown. Celebrity trainer, author, and Founder and President of The Hollywood Trainer Jeanette Jenkins will be the keynote speaker. There will be workshops, activities, guest speakers, exercise demonstrations, free health screenings and more all dedicated to offering insight and education about significant women’s health issues. Back-to-School event
AUG. 23—The LaMarr Woodley Foundation, the Summer Dreamers Academy (SDA) and A+ Schools will host the “1st Impression” Back-to-School event from 1-7 p.m. at Barack Obama Academy, 515 N. The event for the first 300 Pittsburgh Public School students in grades K-8, will send students back-to-school in style with free haircuts for boys, manicures for girls, backpacks, school supplies and t-shirts. Education Walk
AUG. 24—Jehoshabeath Eli will host the “We Love Our North Side Schools” Education Walk for Kids at 9 a.m. at the Children’s Museum, Buhl Community Park, Allegheny Square, North Side. Community Day

Farmers’ Market
ONGOING—The Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation will host the Wilkinsburg Farmers’ Market from 3-6 p.m. at the Parking Lot, between 732 and 744 Ross Ave., Wilkinsburg. The market will be held every Thursday through Nov. 21.
