:05 Stop worrying…no you didn’t miss it. “The Game-Part II” is coming and we don’t expect the results to be much different…. The Champions All-Star Basketball Team (Thus the team name… “Champions”…Duh!) will beat up on John Bettis and the Savoy All-Star team. Now of course, John will use his and Chuck Sanders’ considerable influence to recruit who-knows-who, including some ex-Detroit Pistons named “Isaiah” or “Dumars.” But no matter, we got Myron Brown and Warren Wilson and we go from there. Look for the game Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Thelma Lovette Centre Avenue YMCA as a part of the Connie Hawkins Basketball League Summer Slam featuring middle school, high school and pro games starring the Pittsburgh Bullets. Warm up them ribs chef Kevin…Here comes the Champions!
:04 At the time of this writing, your Pittsburgh Pirates will have taken 2 out of 3 from the Mets. I told you not to worry.

:02 “A Soft Southern Summer Breeze is Coming”…Sunday, July 28 at the Pittsburgh Center for Arts, Fifth and Shady Avenues, starring the great Sandy Greene and Company, and the legend Sly Jock, with a special salute to Pittsburgh icon “Brother Matt.” Dress to impress, Southern style-ladies wear your hats-cash bar-cash southern cuisine-free parking-rain or shine-quality vendors-50/50-a special corvette showing-and the Fiberart International Exhibition of contemporary Fiber Art…Say What!?!-$20 admission in advance, $25 at the door-call the Champions for information, 412-628-4856.
:01 Steeler statements until the season starts. Want to know how great Mel Blount was as a four time Super Bowl champion cornerback?…the league changed the D-back rules because of him. You can’t touch a receiver after five yards off the line of scrimmage. He was killing cats off the line. A 6’4, 200 pound cornerback that ran a 4.4 40-yard-dash…who ever heard of such a thing?!…C’mon man!
:00 Mama what’s that noise? Oh don’t worry baby…that’s the sound of Black men leaving Florida!
“Game Really Over”
