Radio Golf
    The Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company presents “Radio Golf” at 8 p.m. at 937 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. Radio Golf is set in the 1990s and involves an Ivy-League educated lawyer who aspires to redevelop the Hill District and become the first Black mayor of Pittsburgh. But there is one house that stands in his way. The past confronts the future in the present as he discovers the house is more than an obstacle to progress. The show will run through June 29. Asanté Awards
    UMOJA African Arts Company presents the first Asanté Awards Honoring the Arts from 5:30-10:30 p.m. at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture, 980 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. The award ceremony honors an array of artist in Pittsburgh and acknowledges their contributions to the various genres. This is a semi-formal/cocktail attire event. AVIP reception is available. Summer Music Series
    Sweetwater Center for the Arts presents its Summer Music Series from 6-8 p.m. at the Wolcott Park Gazebo, Sewickley. Every Friday night in June, some of the area’s brightest musicians will perform. Chris Vipond and the Stanley Street Band will be this week’s entertainers. This is a free event. The O’Jays/Gladys Knight
    Pittsburgh’s Next Generation of Music Legends presents The O’Jays & Gladys Knight Family Reunion Tour at Meadows Racetrack & Casino, 210 Racetrack Rd., Washington. Join legendary soul group The O’Jays and soloist Gladys Knight as they perform some of their greatest hits. There will also be a fireworks show after the concert.     The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust presents “Al Bright: Abstract Jazz Works” at the 709 Penn Gallery, 709 Penn Ave., Cultural District. Artist Al Bright, abstract expressionist, creates paintings before audiences to live jazz music. Savoy Jazz
