Jerusalem Baptist celebrates 112 years

IN CELEBRATION—Jerusalem Baptist Church at 123 Steuben St., in the West End, celebrated its 112th anniversary with a worship service June 2. Reverend Melvin T. Jackson was the guest preacher for the morning service. The guest preacher for the 3:30 p.m. service was Rev. Dr. W. David Lee, along with his congregation from Sixth Mount Zion Baptist in East Liberty. The church received a proclamation from City Councilwoman Theresa Kail Smith. Above, Rev. Theodore E.
