“Cats have great catalogues from the past and they can tour for the rest of their life,” he said.

Kane believes he will find a new audience with Las Supper.

The nine-member Las Supper group released its debut album, “Back to the Future” in March of this year. It is available on MP 3, itunes and at amazon.com.

Kane showcases his vocal prowess on “Back to the Future” with verses and bridges on the 12-song record.

“The album has been getting great reviews. On iTunes it got five stars. People are supporting it,” said Kane who lives in North Carolina with his wife.

The group is made up of New York-based Lifted Crew and vocalist Show Tyme who is a legend in his own right.

The singer, songwriter and producer have worked with Case, Donell Jones, Kelly Price, Musiq Soulchild and others.

In addition to Kane and Show Tyme, Las Supper is completed with members of Lifted Crew, a New York City hip-hop band that effortlessly mixes funk soul and R & B.

They will embark on a tour in July before releasing its second single.

“We’re trying to say if you want vintage soul and hip-hop, you may as well eat up because this may be your last supper,” Kane said. “If people eat up, we’ll move forward and we’ll continue.’
