Spring Conference
April 18—Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church, 6111 Rodman St., East Liberty, will host the Lott Carey Spring Conference 2013. The three-day seminar will feature Rev. Dr. John Mendez, Rev. Pastoral Anniversary
APRIL 18—New Zion Baptist Church, 1413 Juniata St., North Side, will host its 47th Pastoral Anniversary Celebration of Rev. Dr. Samuel W. Williams Jr. The theme is “Bearing all things for 47 years.” The celebration will run through April 21. There will also be a concert on April 20 at 4 p.m. with Rev. Elton Allen & The Voices of Zion. Gospel Concert
APRIL 19—The Department of Music of CCAC Allegheny County Campus and the Pittsburgh Gospel Choir will host “A Celebration of African-American Music & The Arts” at 7 p.m. at SSC Auditorium, 808 Ridge Ave., North Side. The two-day event will feature the Pittsburgh Gospel Choir and Ensemble, Gail Langstroth and Leslie “Ezra” Smith, Ira Ross and more. Men’s Day
APRIL 20—Triedstone Baptist Church of Rankin, 18 Harriet St., Rankin, will host its Annual Men’s Day Celebration at 9 a.m. The theme is “Be Strong in Grace.” The celebration will begin with a Prayer Breakfast with Richard Freeman. There will also be a Worship Service at 11 a.m. on April 21 with Rev. Sidney Walker and with Rev. Women’s Weekend

The event will feature national recording artist Jeremiah Murphy and the Largo High School Gospel Choir. This event is free and open to the public. Women’s Brunch
APRIL 27—The SHOUT (Sisters Hanging Out United in Truth) Women’s Ministry of Union Baptist Church of Swissvale, 2117 Collingwood Ave., Swissvale, will host a Women’s Brunch from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Every fourth Saturday of the month, women will come together for food, fun and fellowship to praise the Lord and hear a Word from a woman of faith.
