Carnegie Museum of Natural History presents “Empowering Women: Artisan Cooperatives That Transform Communities” at R.P. Simmons Family Gallery, 4400 Forbes Ave., Oakland. This exhibition features 10 artisan cooperatives around the world, organized by women, who use the proceeds to help their families. It explores the work of 10 enterprises in 10 countries. Pittsburgh: Reclaim, Renew, Remix
The August Wilson Center for African American Culture presents the “Pittsburgh: Reclaim, Renew, Remix” Exhibition from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at 980 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. This exhibition is dedicated to honoring and preserving Black culture in Southwestern Pennsylvania. It uses imagery, film and oral history narratives to explore community, culture and innovations. Holiday Open House
The University of Pittsburgh presents its Nationality Rooms Holiday Open House from 12-4 p.m. at the Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., Oakland.
