Church Anniversary

NOV. 30—Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 7220 Bennett St., Homewood, will host its 100th Church Anniversary Celebration. There will be a Remembrance and Fellowship Service at 6 p.m.; a Banquet luncheon on Dec. 1 at 11:30 a.m. at the Comfort Inn in Penn Hills; and a Special Worship and Fellowship Service on Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. at the church. Prayer Breakfast

DEC. 1—First AME Church, 177 Mitchell Ave., Clairton, will host the “Women Gathering at the Wall” Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. Preachers Rev. Conference

DEC. 1—The Singles Sold Out Ministry of Shekinah House of Prayer Ministries United Holy Church of America, 1548 Lincoln Ave., East Liberty, will host the “Unashamed” One Day Conference at 10 a.m. at the Best Western Parkway Center Inn, 875 Greentree Rd., Greentree. Speakers will include Minister Corey Lankford, Pastor Celestine Mayo, First Lady LaShawn Youngblood, Elder Ebony Moultrie and Evangelist Dawsolene Burrell. Rites of Passage

DEC. 7—Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 90 Port Perry Rd., North Versailles, will host its Rites of Passage Celebration at 7 p.m. Minister Justin Hunt of Maryland will be the guest preacher and music will be provided by the Bethlehem Baptist Youth Choir and others. There will also be a Youth Workshop on Dec. 8 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The theme is “Youth Maturing into Young Adults.” This is for youth ages 12-20. The presenter will be Jonas McLeod. Youth Praise Celebration/ Christmas Bazaar

DEC. 8—The YPD of Bethel AME Church, 2720 Webster Ave., Hill District, will host a Youth Praise Celebration and Christmas Bazaar at 10 a.m. This will be a Praise-A-Thon with holiday shopping. Pastoral Anniversary

DEC. 9—United Vision Baptist Church, 637 Belinda St., Hill District, will host is 34th Pastoral Celebration of Rev. Christopher Glover at 10:15 a.m. The guest preacher will be Rev.
