World Day of Prayer

MARCH 2—East End Churches will host the World Day of Prayer at 11 a.m. at East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty. Local East End congregations will lead this year’s ecumenical service of praise and prayer. A tea with Malaysian foods will follow the service. Women’s brunch

MARCH 3—Monumental Baptist Church, 2240 Wylie Ave., Hill District, will host the Women’s Morning Glory Brunch at 11 a.m. The topic is “Why Am I Here? What Does the Lord Require of You?” There will be a panel discussion moderated by Rev. Lauren Webb and feature Rev. Victoria Bryant, Deaconess Priscilla Boyd, Cassandra Stanley and Psalmist Priscilla Smith. The event is free and open to all. For more information, call 412-281-3384.

Concert

MARCH 3—Bethel AME Church, 2720 Webster Ave., Hill District, and Pittsburgh Miller Elementary School will host an Afternoon of Music and Education Reconnecting from 3-5 p.m. at Pittsburgh Miller Elementary School Auditorium, 2055 Bedford Ave., Hill District. Pastoral installation

Revival

MARCH 4—The Building Fund Committee of The Wilkinsburg Church of the Nazarene, 300 Peebles St., Wilkinsburg, will host its Month of Sundays Revival Series at 4 p.m. The series will be held every Sunday in March and will include singing, praising, praying, preaching and fellowship. Men’s Revival

MARCH 5—The Men of Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church, 6111 Rodman St., East Liberty, will host its 2012 March Madness at 7 p. m. Each Monday in March, the church will hold revivals geared toward the men of the community. Guest speakers include Rev. Dr. Marcus Cosby, Rev. Dr. Marlon Scott and Pastor R. Benjamin Gaither. There will also be a Men’s 33rd Annual Prayer Breakfast on March 31 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. with host Pastor Rev. Dr. Darryl Canady as the worship facilitator. Financial Peace University

MARCH 6—Beulah Presbyterian Church, 2500 McCrady Rd., Churchill, will host a Financial Peace University from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Every Tuesday from now through May 28, a 13-week video series with Dave Ramsey will teach attendees the important facts and figures about personal spending and saving. Pastoral anniversary

MARCH 7—Triedstone Baptist Church of Rankin, 18 Harriet St., Rankin, will host its 8th Pastoral Anniversary of Rev. Nathaniel and Rev. Terri Pennybaker. There will be several nights of worship and praise. The service will run through March 10 and will include guest speakers Rev. Richard Wingfield, Rev. Earlene Coleman and Rev.
