:10 Others have already done it and Lord knows the Penn State jokes are all over the Internet. But for me there’s nothing funny about children being molested. So I’ll pass on the funny stuff. But I will tell you this …“What goes around…comes around.”
:09 Tiger Woods finished 3rd in the Australian Open Nov. 6. That can only mean one thing…that’s right the ladies are back!
:08 There’s something going on at my alma mater Penn Hills High School and it’s not looking good. Stay tuned and stay in touch with your New Pittsburgh Courier. This is gonna be big, I mean really really big!!!
:07 I think it’s safe to say the Pitt football team is turning the corner towards a winning season. The defense has stepped up big time and Tino Sunseri is giving you all he’s got. It’s just too bad they lost Ray Graham to the knee injury. It’s not high octane but at least they’re out of the driveway.
:06 The Pitt hoop season has started and the squad is loaded. Coach Dixon’s biggest problem is going to be getting playing time for all that talent. Ashton Gibbs aka “The Rifleman” is back and looking better than ever. Be mindful however he’s not just a shooter he has total game. I expect to see him at the next level.
:05 Speaking of the next level…that being the NBA…and I was. A bunch of billionaires fighting a bunch of millionaires for 2 percent profit…C’mon Man!
:04 Oh let’s go back to Pitt for a minute. The next time you go to a Pitt basketball game look up in the rafters and tell me what’s missing. (I’ll tell you what’s missing because you ex-South Vo-Tech grads are too slow to get it on your own). There are four “hall of fame” “number retired” legend’s names hanging there. Billy Knight, Don Hennon…Who…!, Charles Smith and Brandon Knight. Now I am not mad at any of those guys because they earned their place in history. But for the love of God and all that is holy and right can somebody…anybody please tell me how Sam Clancy’s not among that cast. Simply put “Sam Bam” Clancy changed Pitt basketball from what it was to what it is today; top level, physical, get it done, win at all costs basketball. At 6’6” he remains one of the Big East’s greatest centers and clearly rivals Charles Smith for the No. 1 spot for the Panthers. And as a athlete he was second to none. He only went on to have a great fifteen year pro football career. C’mon Pitt, do the right thing. I am just saying!!! And while we’re at it, how is Larry Harris not among the chosen few? He’s only Pitt’s 3rd all time leading scorer, not to mention a true superstar out of high school in basketball, football, and track…I am just saying again!!! And what about Clyde Vaughn, Pitt’s 2nd all time leading scorer behind Charles Smith. And I mean instant and non-stop offense. Were any of you at East Hills Park at the Connie Hawkins League when Clyde scored 48 for the Don’s…only to have it wiped out two days later by David “Dr. Death” Trent who lit it up for 51.
Yea boy back-in-the-day! You people need to speak up. Let’s get these guys in the elite class they belong in.

:02 I am going to tell all of you the same thing I told Kevin Cameron (who by the way is now in The Locker Room, he’s reading Overtime and can’t get enough of it…it’s knowledge for his Aliquippa brain) if you think you’ve got a better list than mine send it in. Muhammad Ali is the greatest athlete of all time; bar none…well shut me up then.
