Fundraiser/Meet and Greet

JUNE 29—Coalition of Organized Residents of East Liberty will host a Fundraiser and Meet and Greet from 4-7 p.m. at 271 N. Whitfield St., Suite 210, East Liberty. Open House

JUNE 30—Pittsburgh Community Services Inc. will host an Open House from 3-7 p.m. at 249 N. Craig St., Oakland. This is the community action agency for the city of Pittsburgh and serves residents at or below 125 percent of the poverty guidelines. Softball game

JULY 9—The Josh Gibson Foundation and Massaro Corporation will host its Annual Charity Softball Game from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Josh Gibson Field, 2217 Bedford Ave., Hill District. Reunion

Runway Show

JULY 10—Oasis Ministries Inc. will host a Vintage Vacation Fantasy Runway Show at 5 p.m. at the Double Tree Hotel, 106 Mall Blvd., Monroeville. Community Concert

JULY 14—Urban Impact Pittsburgh will host a Community Concert at 7:30 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon United Presbyterian Church, 255 Washington Rd., Pittsburgh. The concert will feature the legendary bluegrass band The Del McCoury Band. The cost is $20 and proceeds will benefit the Urban Impact and the Brookline Christian Mentoring Program. Sports Luncheon

JULY 22—The Pittsburgh Pirates from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. will host its 2011 African-American Heritage Day Sports Luncheon at PNC Park, Lexus Club, Federal St., North Shore. The keynote speaker for the event will be Herman Boone, whose inspirational story was captured in the Disney film “Remember the Titans.” He will be speaking on Lessons in Diversity. Tickets are $65. Class Reunion

JULY 22—The Fifth Avenue High School Class of 1960 and 1961 Reunion Committee will host a 50th and 51st Class Reunion at the Comfort Inn Hotel, Rodi Rd., Penn Hills. SummerFood Program

Ongoing—The Allegheny County Department of Human Services will host the SummerFood Program. This is a free breakfast, lunch and recreation program for youths and children 18 and under in economically disadvantaged communities.
