This week I visited Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland, Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, CJ’s in the Strip District, Calvary Baptist Church in the Hill District, St. Benedict the Moor Hall in the Hill District and Obsessions Ultra Lounge and Restaurant in the Strip District.

My first stop was at St. Benedict the Moor Hall, where the Black Sapphire’s held a cabaret and Clarissa celebrated her birthday with family and friends.

My next stop was at Calvary Baptist Church in the Hill District, where a benefit concert was held for Sylvia Barnett presented by Ricardo Barnett, Phillip Russell and Friends. This concert also featured Melvin “Boo” Jackson and Minister Brian Wright Sr.

My next stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District, where the legendary Ronnie Laws came out to meet and greet with fans at his after party that was presented by AAMI and Two Brothers. I also went to CJ’s in the Strip District to celebrate the birthday of Tracey with her family and friends.

My next stop was at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip distric,t where R&B superstar Tank came out to meet and greet with his fans before going to Obsessions Ultra Lounge and Restaurant in the Strip to perform. Savvy Lifestyle, Rock Around the World Ent. and Savoy Restaurant presented the concert and it was off the chain.

My next stop was at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland, where T. Rose Enterprises and B. Marshall Productions presented the Lloyd and Miguel Set off Pittsburgh’s Spring Explosion “RIP THE RUNWAY,” also featuring American Top Model Eva Pigford.

My final destination was at Obsessions Ultra Lounge and Restaurant in the Strip District where T. Rose Enterprises and B. Marshall Productions held the official after party from the Lloyd and Miguel event at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland.
