Spring Revival

MAY 25—Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 90 Port Perry Rd., North Versailles, will host a Spring Revival at 7 p.m. The revival will run through May 26 and will feature Rev. Dr. Alyn E. Waller of Philadelphia. The church Praise Team and choirs, as well as, musicians and singers from area churches will provide the music. For more information, call 412-823-4049.

Singles Café Ministry

MAY 28—The Singles Café will host their monthly Singles Café Ministry from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Panera Bread, 5430 Centre Ave., Shadyside. This is a ministry for single men and women looking to be educated and empowered on how to establish and maintain healthy, Godly relationships through the Word of God. Youth Day

MAY 29—The Young Peoples Society of Christian Tabernacle Church, 2601 Centre Ave., Hill District, will host its Youth Day at 10:30 a.m. The theme is “How to Stay on Track” with Rev. Barry Givner as the guest preacher and Joyce Givner as the guest vocalist. Pastoral Installation

MAY 31—Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 330 Fourth St., Rankin, will host its Pastoral Installation of Rev. William Baker IV at 7 p.m. The guest preachers for the celebration, which will run through June 5, include Rev. Darrell T. Canady, Rev. James D. Burwell, Rev. Brian Edmonds, Rev. Dr. William H. Curtis and Rev. Delano Paige. The actual installation service will take place on June 5 at 4 p.m. with Rev. Barbara Gunn. For more information, call 412-271-0303.

Women’s Day

JUNE 3—The Women of Monumental Baptist Church, 2240 Wylie Ave., Hill District, will host a Women’s Day Weekend at 7 p.m. The theme is “Someone is Missing From the Dinner Table.” Individuals and families who have lost someone due to violence or sudden death are invited to attend. This three-day event promises to bring healing, hope and encouragement to those who attend. There will be a service with Marsha Grayson as the guest speaker with Rev. DeNeice Welch as the guest soloist; a salad-a-rama with spoken word; and a Sunday morning worship service with Rev. Millie Jackson. There will be a repast following the service. Prayer Breakfast

JUNE 4—The Missionary Ministry of Triedstone Baptist Church of Rankin, 18 Harriet St., Rankin, will host its Pre-65th Church Anniversary Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. The theme is “Prayer Changes Things” and the guest preacher will be Rev. Strawberry Fest

JUNE 10—Shadyside Presbyterian Church, 5121 Westminster Place, Shadyside, will host its Strawberry Festival from 5:30-8:30 p.m. This will be a traditional evening of fun, games and delicious food to celebrate the impending arrival of summer and support for the non-profit organization, Sojourner House MOMS. Pastoral Anniversary

Bible Study
