Prayer breakfast

MAY 7—The Missionary Auxiliary of Pentecostal Temple COGIC, 6300 East Liberty Blvd., East Liberty, will host a Pre-Mother’s Day Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. at the Rivers Club, One Oxford Centre, 301 Grant St., Downtown. Gospel concert

MAY 7—The Pittsburgh Gospel Choir will host a Gospel Concert at 4 p.m. at East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty. The theme will be “O Sing Unto the Lord A New Song: An Afternoon of Tribute, Recognition & Celebration.” The choir, under the direction of Dr. Herbert V.R.P. Fundraiser

MAY 14—Lost But Not Forgotten Outreach will host a Fundraiser at 11:30 a.m. at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association Club, 4215 Fifth Ave., Oakland. This is to raise money for their organization, which helps to keep incarcerated individuals from going back to their bad habits through providing various tools and skill sets to achieve success. Women’s day

MAY 15—The Women’s Day Ministry of Beulah Baptist Church, 201 Chalfont St., Beltzhoover, will host their Women’s Day at 10 a.m. The theme is “Women of God with a Hopeful Spirit-a Steady Vision and a Persistent Faith.” There will be a lunch served immediately following the event. MAY 15—Morningside Baptist Church, 4846 Sullivan St., Garfield, will host their Annual Women’s Day at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Lola Cherry of Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church. There will also be an afternoon service at 3:30 p.m. with Sis. Tiffany Robinson of Revival Temple Fellowship Ministry. Women’s conference

MAY 20—Diamond in the Rough Productions will host the Second Annual Women’s Conference “Broken But Healed” at 7 p.m. at the Best Western Greentree, 875 Greentree Rd., Greentree. This two-day seminar will include Prophetess Mechella Garner, Pastor Freda Thorpe and Pastor June Jeffries. Bible study
