I have been married for two years. When dating, my husband and I were always going on trips, movies, and the finest of restaurants. How can I get him to do these things again?
I gave a Super Bowl party and told him to invite some of his friends. He invited ladies from his job who came wearing tight jeans, short skirts, and see-through blouses.
We had a big argument because only one male came. I had wanted my marriage to be exciting but it is turning out to be everything except joy.
Gwendolyn, he is such a changed man. Sometimes I wish I had stayed single. Not a bad life…you know?—Ruby
It is said that the man you date is not the man you marry.
I am sure that saying does not apply to all married men.
There are many men who keep the excitement going.
You must admit, however, there are some women who wear the hat of not being exciting.
In fact, women are known to turn their attention away from their marriage. Good you are not in that category. With you, your marriage is a dream world and there is nothing wrong with that.
I suggest you have a talk with your husband. I’m sure you have talked with him many times before.
But, have that talk again. I also suggest that you do not start a family. I say this because your marriage may not survive.
If you have to return to single life, at least you know that being single is not a bad life.
More women need to realize that. It’s sad that women dream of getting married and then dream—of getting out.
