Mt. Zion Baptist Church installs Rev. Sims

Reverend Samuel Williams from New Zion Baptist Church preached the morning service and Rev. Alvin Coon of St. John Evangelist Baptist Church preached the afternoon service.

MAY 27—Baptist Temple Church, 7241 Race St., Homewood, will host a Seminar and Pastoral Installation at 6 p.m. For two nights guest preacher Rev. Anthony Trufant of Brooklyn, N.Y., will conduct the “Vision 2010” seminar. This seminar is designed for members, lay leaders and those envisioning themselves doing the ministry of the Great Commission in the 21st century. MAY 28—Covenanted Praise Mime Ministry will host an Open Casting Call from 6-8 p.m. at Hosanna House, 807 Wallace Ave., Wilkinsburg. This is a casting for the production “The Millennial King,” which tells the story of King David as it relates to the life of Jesus Christ through music, mime, dance and drama.
