To ignite efforts in making Point Park University more culturally aware and socially diverse, the Black Student Union hosted its annual Soul Food Social: Jazz Classic Dec. 2 in the Point Park University Ballroom.

The event provided music, food, and a program that helped the Black Student Union advertise its plans to the larger community. It also highlighted the sounds of jazz. The keynote speaker for the evening was UPMC Chief Diversity Officer Candi Castleberry-Singleton, who talked about the advantages and benefits of diversity and inclusion in today’s society.
